談到1972年的電影《海神號》，可能很多五年級前段班以及四年級生印象深刻，有機會到租片店租來看看吧。這片電影的主題曲 The Morning after 由 Maureen Therese McGovern (born July 27, 1949) 所唱，她是美國的著名歌手與百老匯女演員，這是她首張專輯的代表作。

鼓舞人心的歌詞內容，讓人感覺到前途一片光明，不管遇見什麼挫折，都不要懷憂喪志，心中只要有愛有信心，任何困難都會迎刃而解的。歌曲最後的一再吶喊著 "There's got to be a morning after"，更有鼓舞人心向上，源源不絕的產生一股不怕艱難的動力。
